DROID Finish Tracking Instruments For New CD
November 4, 2003Long Beach, California's DROID have just finished tracking instruments for their new release at the Corporate Avenger studios. The CD, titled "Swallow the Cure", is not expected to surface until early 2004 through an as-yet-undisclosed label. In the meantime, the band, who served as the backing musicians for KORN bassist Fieldy on his FIELDY'S DREAMS album, will embark on a tour with KORN and LIMP BIZKIT beginning on November 10 in Las Vegas.
Fieldy recently gave Launch some background info on DROID. "They're friends of KORN," Fieldy said. "We know 'em. They're just like friends of mine, they just kind of back me up and they know all my songs. And it's like a really heavy version of FIELDY'S DREAMS when we play live."
